CREATE
Our Vision: To CREATE economically vibrant and inclusive communities that support recovery from serious mental illness.
Our Mission: We CREATE opportunities with and for people living with serious mental illness to be meaningfully employed and to achieve health and well-being within their communities.
WHAT IS CREATE?
Community REcovery Achieved Through Entrepreneurism
Why are we doing this?
People with severe and persistent mental illness living in low income contexts often lack opportunities for meaningful employment and psychosocial support – key factors to recovery.
What are we doing?
CREATE addresses this gap by through locally-viable social entrepreneurial opportunities and an evidence-based Recovery-Oriented Psychosocial Rehabilitation Toolkit to employ and support the overall functioning and wellbeing of people living with mental illness.
